Field of Dreamsby jrod867Comment: I'll have the green Lamborghini in the middle or the grey Ferrari at the right or that small silver Porsche right in front of what looks like an Aston Martin.
Nice garage mate! ;) |

Stilte - Silenceby AzrifelComment: Originally posted by swinging_johnson_v1: very nice image...but, your blacks and whites are not pure. Especially your whites, they are definetly impure. |
That's because this photo is quadtoned with blue, purple, green and black.

Oleanderby sherComment: The balance between light and dark is so good here. I love the toning, you're the duontone guru! (kneels and bows) ;)
Perhaps the only flaw, perhaps it is insulting to say flaw, is the look as if it has had to much noise reduction. Don't get me wrong, for this type of photos I like the waterpaint look that is especially visible in the out of focus parts. It has the effect of a painting.
The specks of water work brilliantly, makes the photo more lively.

Where to look?by zerodeanComment: Where to look?
Well..... (I'm in the mood to be a bit picky)
On the whole you think, wow, what a beauty!
But when you look better at all the parts you wonder what actually the beauty is.
Her face is rather long and in this expression lacks emotion because of the huge space beneath her eyes. The bra is a bit large/long in relation to her breasts. Her tummy is rather flat and lacks interest apart from the piercing. The legs are quite normal and the arms look skinny. And the transition between tummy and legs is a bit short for my taste and the width of her tummy does not look good with the width of the torso above it.
But why then, when you look at the whole picture, the mind says "beauty". Is it a man thing, is our brain really somehwere else? :)
Photographically I like it a lot. There is a nice balance between dark and light. The face stands out with the locks of hair. The pose is pretty dynamic and daring. 8

And bending down beside the glowing bars...by sherComment: Hi 'Cherie',
Stumbled onto this photo at pbase earlier this evening. Wanted to leave a comment there later, I also like that shot of the field with the tree a lot. But now I see it again here.
This one is great, the symmetry and soft colors are very entertaining. Perhaps the top part is hurt by overexposure around the edges, creating some softness and strange color effects on the rose petals, but that is not so important here.
The rose looks like it bends down to have a good look at itself. What it finds is a kind of blue dreamworld. The shades and tones of blue there are wonderful (the color blue is my fav color).
No matter how I twist my head, I like what I see. :)
Good luck! |

The rideby ergoComment: There is perhaps a tad to much darkness but it is a great silhouette with strong human elements. I like it a lot. |
