Somehow you want and expect supersharp technical excellent pics. But those do not always fit the theme. The softness and psychedelic colors might work well with their kind of music, it tells more about the band.
The composition could be better with a move to the right. Include the guitar player, there is enough room at the left. Now it is too centered on the singer, causing the guitar player to be cut off. 6.

About the angle this is shot at (why not more attention to the steam at both sides): There is a modern big and ugly industrial area right behind the train. The train hides it all. An angle to include more of the steam would also have shown that area.

I don't know if many people don't know art-deco and the preceding jugendstil, it has produced many of the most beautiful buildings of the last century. When you say Empire State or Chrysler building they all know waht you are talking about.
I don't really understand the low score, it is a fine photo. Had to search and search. :(

Good subject matter, technically good. The brightness on top is a bit distracting, it draws the eye out of the rainstorm. I would like to see a tighter crop tat focusses more on the road and the dark clouds. 7

Interesting shot perspective/compostion/light wise. But only the newspaper is telling me that it rains. There is no shine on the street, no streaks of rain in the air, the paper looks solid instead of wet and the distance is very clear. 7
