Merced Riverby bryanbrazilComment: Cool reflection. I might have pushed the colors and contrast a bit more and flippin it wouldn't hurt it either imo. Looks like Yosemite to me but it has been nine years since I last was there. |

Category 5by cabaComment: Last time I saw a photograph of this (ID=127647) it was not about hurricanes at all but about the 2nd worldwar.
The color is a bit flat and lacking contrast, the grain is more about color noise and not about pattern filmlike grain.

I Am Not Thereby sherComment: Just wonderful. Dark vs Light. Roughness trying to conquer the delicate carving, the mood of the pose of the statue combined with your photographical presentation. Very, very good.
Edit:
Interesting poem as well. Thanks for introducing me to stuff like that. Is it yours? (/me is not up to date with poetry)

Inner Strengthby sherComment: The vignetting makes the mind close in on the statue and gives it a creepy feeling. Combined witht the toning it makes a wonderful exposure / balance, precisely what the subject needs.
The face looks like that of a child, innocent. The darkness closes in. What have I done wrong? You need a lot of inner strength for such situations. Perfectly presented. |

Driftingby JinjitComment: Bang, top 10! Say it with pictures! :)
It looks like a gracious little boat.
Just like the flower, great use of negative space.

"Ribbons ga ik deze keer niet halen". ROFL! :)
Moet een lekker gevoel gegeven hebben om de score zo te zien klimmen.
