That's a really cool idea, kind of links transportation to glass. I'm not sure about the book in the background and I'm n ot sure the drop-shadow is legal for the challenges (photoshop effect!!). But it's a nice original picture which I give a solid 8 rating.

Romantic Glass

Great job, although there is another shot quite similar that has deep blue bowls and is slightly superior to this. The colors are a bit dull. I really like how the light flows out of these bowls although the table/floor shows a bit of noise due probably to the low-lighting situation. Nevertheless a great job! - 8

Although I would have preferred a different glass-color (the purple and yellow doesn't fit that well with the sky) I really like this picture. It's original and the sky is simply awesome. Well done! - 8

It's a nice pic, although I would want to see them houses out of the way, it would only take a bulldozer! Also I can't quite make out what it is that's on the bridge.

Sunset airlines

This was of course a matter of being in the right place at the right time. It's taken at Reykjavík Airport which only has domestic flights (no jets). I had wanted to take a photo of it landing, but since it landed on the other side of the runway I was only able to take a shot of it as it had stopped and was getting ready to turn off the runway. The effects are quite unintentional, but turned out pretty nice. I don't work at the airport but managed to squeeze my lense in between the fence surrounding the airport.

What a thrill it is to recieve such great encouraging comments and a ribbon to boost! Wooohoooo!!!!!

Quite a few comments mentioned that this shot might be used for an airline or travel brochure. I was actually able to use it on a recent project at work for Flyware.net a software company offering weight and balance solutions.

My photo gallery has some pictures taken on the same night.
