Mirageby LevTComment: Thanks for all the comments!
Obviously I've seen the biggest problem with it, that the bench is not parallel to the horizon line. I thought at the time there was nothing I could do about it short of moving the bench parallel to the view and re-shooting the photo, which was out of the realm of possibility :). How wrong was I! It just occured to me much later that I could simply use Transform option in Photoshop to straighten it out. Took me all about 10 sec to do it, and here is the result
Live and learn... Photoshop. I think I lost at least half a point on this stupid mistake...
By the way, this is another shot of the same Island of San Giulio

morning mistby dragonladyComment: I like the tone of this photo. I can imagine that it looks even better at full resolution... |

Environmental Portrait by spydrComment: Very good macro. I wonder if it is a sibling of the guy who is on the front page right now (the winner of the Rain challenge)? :] |

Meditateby DefyTimeComment: Pretty good photo (reminds of a recent winner of "Color on color" challenge) but the colors are a bit dull, you need to bump the contrast somehow here |

Predatorby GnarfComment: Great lighting and focus in this photo which I imagine was not easy to achieve since the cat is actually walking. |

Simplier Timesby captbenderComment: Interesting capture.... I am not a big fan of pink doors :) I think complete b/w would work a lot better here. |

My storyby cabaComment: very good portrait, the only drawback I see is the dull background, for this kind of portrait, a "real life" (even severely blurred) b/g would work a lot better, IMO. |
