Alone Togetherby levyj413Comment: A good choice for this challenge. Fits quite well. Love the way the guy standing up in the background is checking you out ~ crazy photographer anyway. :D The guy with the hat and glasses is the focal point for me and you've placed him strategically within the composition. Nice job overall. Good luck in the challenge. Giving you an extra point just for having the gonads to take this shot in the first place. :) |

Free Energy ... (@ 11¢ / kWh)by MackFlixComment: First thing that catches my attention is the snow flying. Second is the tilted horizon. I really like the vehicles being out there at the time you took this photo as it adds scope/scale to what would otherwise be hard to judge. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Portrait of a Girly Manby alanfreedComment: Go ahead. YOU call him a girly man. :D Good eye for seeing this in the crowd (well...hard to miss I guess), and then finding a suitable title to fit for the challenge. I like how you've isolated him from the background (long range telephoto?) and the image is quite sharp and well focused. Well done. Good luck in the challenge. |

A Spoken Thoughtby CutterComment: Cute and clever. I know you wanted the paper to be obvious, however, I wonder how it would have looked shaped as an oval or even a carton callout shape? Regardless, very artsy kind of shot that should do well. Good luck. |

Going Nowhereby lynnmarieComment: Great environment/setting for this shot. Sky is almost to the point of being too grainy. Sorry if that's one of my first observations, but it jumps out at the viewer initially. Centered composition? Some will like it, some won't. I find it fits this photo just fine. Good luck in the challenge. |

Dry martini - Shaken, Not Stirredby deacueductoComment: You're going to really wish you cleaned the mirror by the time this challenge is done with votes/commenting. :D Nice take on the challenge theme. Couple of hotspots from the strong lighting, but a pleasing image nonetheless. Good luck in the challenge. |

Little Giantby Ne0nComment: Love the expression on his face and certainly fits your choice. Technically, the composition is "ok". Not that you could change this candid moment, but the boy to the right does distract some. The monitor I'm using isn't the best here today...looks like this photo could use a small boost in contrast. JMO of course. Best of luck in the challenge. |

Found Missingby HaneckComment: This is a tough one. I'm not really getting the connection. Sorry. As for the image, it's composed ok, but seems a bit too dark. |

"Pretty Ugly"by sallyjo1Comment: Yikes. She looks like the poster child for spousal abuse or something. Kind of disturbing. If I cover the left half of her face I can see the pretty part. Too bad you couldn't get a crooked smile to enhance the effect. The bra strap is distracting, should go without perhaps, or use a different shirt on that shoulder? Focus seems a little too soft around her eyes. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |
