Momentary Glanceby NaldComment: This is nice. Good choice of location to get some nice colorful bokeh working in the background. The expression on her face is fun to look at. Good capture. Best of luck in the challenge. |

Nature is wierdby GunniComment: Cute kid. Compositionally, it would have been a little better if you could have moved to your left some to eliminate the distractions in the left side of the image (car and something near foreground). As for bokeh, I'm not seeing any, but don't worry - I'm not voting, just browsing. ;^) Good luck. |

Home Runby BradComment: This is a very interesting play on lights. Fun image to look at. Definitely have the bokeh working! Should do well for you. Good luck! |

Beauty and the Beautyby stare_at_the_sunComment: Did you pick a flower to set this up?! Say it's not so! ;^) Nice capture of the spider web...liking the dew/rain drops. There is bokeh in the background. How much it helps or adds to the image I'm not sure. Good luck in the challenge. |

Candy for Mooby neophyteComment: Ok, there is some bokeh working her. Problem I see that is going to negatively impact your score is the composition primarily and the subject secondly. The floral item is smack dab in the center of this image. Nothing really going on to be excited about. Maybe a bug or something to add interest? Early morning dew drops? Personally, I take floral shots once in awhile...just trying to be honest. Good luck in the challenge. |

Coneflowersby banmornComment: The bokeh is ok, I wish the main subject was a little more interesting. Nothing peronsal, I take flower shots also...the coneflower head you selected is looking tired and the lighting is kind of harsh. Early or late day sun may have better? Wait for a bug (bee, butterfly, etc...) to land? JMO. ;^) |

IMG_9802-01.jpgby dwterryComment: Simple, yet very creative. I like the eye you have for the unusual and interesting image. |

The First Turnby coolharComment: Harv - I meant to comment on this before. The sharpness of this image really jumps out at me. You forgot to mention in your comments another factor in the difference between this shot and your 'Grace' shot from 2003...equipment! ;^)
Smile and keep having fun! |

Moonwalkerby SJCarterComment: Hey! I've seen this guy somewhere else before... ;^) No, really! Now I'll have to find it - a very similar shot. Nonetheless, I like this. Looks like the voters did also. You did a nice job in laying out the composition, using the dark area lower right to create a ROT type comp. |

"Crying, Waiting, Hoping"by MelethiaComment: I missed this shot earlier. Such a wonderful capture! You could put many different titles on this one. Big print or stock potential on this one I would think. |
