Looks like a photo that belongs in a biology book or something. :) I like how you can get a sense of scale (mostly - kid or adult hand?) with the hand holding the frog.

Water and water reflection shots are always enjoyable. This one is no exception. I like how there is some wind movement on the water to the right, yet it's mostly calm on the left. Traditional ROT placement of the boat works just fine.

Subject comes across nice in B/W. Well seen and captured.

Going back thru the images I scored highest/lowest...had you picked in top 3. Thought this was very creative and unique. Additionally, this photo is well done technically. The DOF is perfect for this.

Smile and keep having fun! :)

What a unique building. Shame it has to go, eh? Glad you were able to get some photos of it while you still can.

You have some great detail and texture in this. Would be interesting to see what this same scene looks like at the opposite end of the day with maybe front lighting.

Overall I like the high contrast and soft feel to this. One thing jumping out at me is the exposure push is causing a strange effect on the brides face (her forehead right side (our left) and her hair seem chopped off because of lost detail). A couple of other things going on that a quick bit of cloning might address; the object lower-right (person?) could be cloned to straight black to match the mans jacket, the two black items in the top could go to white (to match surrounding area). All JMO of course. :)

Interesting play with lines and light. The slight angle from your POV adds more to it also.

I did get a bigger kick out of your comments, especially the part about your wife thinking you're crazy. You're not alone - with a wife thinking that way I mean. :P

You're just having too much fun, aren't you? :P

Ok. I find this image "interesting". It actually has some very nice lines to it that flow quite well. I'm not a big fan of extreme stuff (IR is a turnoff, over-processed & pushed stuff, etc...) but I suppose it can be fun to play once in-a-while. :)

Very cool subject. You'll have to revisit this after any first snowfall - that would make for an interesting photo. :) Some closeups of this may have worked in your favor given the lighting conditions you've pointed out. Something with just the front wheel, vines, and wooden fence (where if deep enough, some wood grain could show). Just a thought.

I like this as a subject. Personally I prefer to obtain blur by using shallow DOF, but what you've done works fine as well. I like how you've considered the ROT's in your composition. I think the lamp could use just a tad more breathing room above and below, but especially below. Good eye to see this. :)

I personally don't have any experience with this type of photography (band/performers/musicians). When I look at this I can get a sense of the intensity and the heat. The sheen of sweat on the drummers skin, the harsh shadow on the left speaker, the mic stand on the lead performers jeans. This all kind of puts me there in a way, which is cool. Regarding B/W...it's contrasty and the tonal range is covered. Works for me. :)
