 Welcome to my bedroom! This is EXACTLY what I saw upon opening my eyes for the first time this morning - laying on my bed looking out the window. The sky was so gray and dull, I almost didn't need to convert to B&W. I got up, grabbed my camera and put on the 17-40mm wide angle, laid back down on the pillow and snapped the shot. Of course my wife thought I was crazy.

Not the most interesting pic in the world, but it presents some interesting shadows & shapes and pulls you a little into my world.

I like this, even as 'boring' as it is - but I think if you cropped it so there was an equal amount of ngative space above the window and below it would feel much more balanced and and a lot of impact to the shot. My 2 cents.

Interesting play with lines and light. The slight angle from your POV adds more to it also.

I did get a bigger kick out of your comments, especially the part about your wife thinking you're crazy. You're not alone - with a wife thinking that way I mean. :P
