Day - 26by JLCComment: Nice job on the composition - keeping it tight and focused. Good detail, yet soft as it should express. Using the flash took the immediate bg to black, which helps the viewer stay focused.
Nice having a camera at work, eh? |

Park Bridgeby cogeroxComment: I keep falling off! :P When I view this I'm inclined to start on the left. As I move across I can't help but fall into the water and seek out that bright reflection. It could be the curve of the underside of the bridge helping to direct me there. Hmmm.
Nice tones, and great clarity/focus. |

Lonesome Trackby SJCarterComment: Nice POV for this. It's kind of fun how the letter 'S' appears in the fields to the left also. As for the challenge, you've captured a leading 'S' that works pretty well. Might have warmed this up just a touch to get some of the blue cast off the far hillside. Little haloing in the tree reflection on the water (HDR or Clarify?). Overall, nicely done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Castle on the Hill by KarenNfldComment: It's almost like someone plastered a 'S' right out there for you! :) Great idea getting this shot at night. Much better than anything this could have done in daylight, although twilight may have been pretty strong as well. Good luck in the challenge. |

Fall is Around The Cornerby fainaComment: I like the overall feel of this photo. Nice scenic view with a dramatic sky. The 'S' is there, but not easily discerned for those that don't look closely (that's probably going to cost your score a little). FWIW, I like it - 7 from me earlier. Coming back around to comment. Good luck in the challenge. |

The Road To Hellby onarComment: Wow. Fire sure changed the overall feel of this landscape I imagine. The haze in the distance makes it seem like it's still smoldering and the fire consumed the entire valley! I like how you controlled the exposure to keep the glare on the road from blowing out. Good luck in the challenge. |

River Road Farm by DJWoodwardComment: I really like this shot. The vivid colors of the scene with the filtered sunlight is very nice, and the fading fog around the corner is cool too. Well seen and captured! Good luck. |

The Journeyby Wenders11Comment: This is one of those photos that warms the heart (being a dad anyway). Well captured in all of the technical details and composition. The 'S' is a tad short (funny how the eyes complete what's not there) but I'm not holding that against you (much) - gave this an 8 initially and coming back around for comments. |
