 I took this on August 1 2008 on Aughusla strand in Tralee Bay, County Kerry, Ireland.
The subject is my dumb dog Beamish.
I used the Landscape mode on my EOS 400D.
I used Paint shop Pro XI to edit this image.
I edited the image by cropping the dark foreground and dark hills on the horizon.

I resized the picture to fit it into the maximum 720 pixels.

I used the straighten tool to fix the horizon.
I used digital camera noise removal to soften the image.
Im quite pleased with how the sun is shining out her bum.

This is my first ever competition submission so would like it to be ripped apart for criticism.
Also I hope Im following the rules correctly and Im unsure if the aperture setting I put in is corrct.

I'd have scored your photo higher if more of it were in focus, clever title and I do like the colors. The composition is very nice too.

aww, what a little baby!... although it does kind of look like he/she is pooping out the sun (but maybe that's just my sense of humor, lol!) good luck to you!!
