Staged, not staged...can't tell, and doesn't matter either way in this case. You've captured a wonderful image here. Nice balance in the comp. Exposure for the lighting is right on the mark. Well done!

She looks posed uncomfortably. I'm not a big fan of posed studio model shots, however, this is setup somewhat more interesting with the different lighting effect you've achieved.

Have seen a handful of these now. I like the detail this has compared to some others. It's funny...this one has more detail in the areas outside of the lava plumes, but in yours the lava and smoke are blurred from the long exposure. Maybe a combination of multiple exposures to get detail in both? Just some observations. Good luck.

Sorry, finding this a little uninteresting as subject material. On a technical note, the focal plane is really narrow with only the lower central area being sharply focused.
