Sorry for the delayed response (does spending the day at the dentist office count?) :-)

First reaction when this image loaded was the perceived tilt. Technically I don't believe it is; it's that angled tree line and the use of what I'm assuming is a wide-angle lens (trees converging in the center). The stars visible in the area below the opening, beyond the foreground trees, look sharp - the ones in the open area are showing some movement. Hard not to I know ... just saying. I'd have hovered between a 5 or 6 on this and probably hit the 5 and moved on.

I like this ... I would have REALLY liked it with some of the top cropped (say below the license plate). Otherwise, nicely done. Good luck in the challenge.

I really like this. The only thing missing that would take it over the top is a catchlight in her eyes (i.e. fill flash pop).

Hey - I can see it now. :-) I think this would have done better in the challenge this way, yes. Still seems a little bit under-exposed but I do like what you've done with it.

I think the overall concept of this photo is great. Some things I wish were different in the end result: 1) an isolated subject - if you could have taken a different position to get this small tree without the background ... 2) exposure is maybe .5 to .7 underexposed ... 3) white balance is just a little too cool (blue) IMO.
