Nice shot! I love the lighting in this, especially the way the light on the background is kind of leading away from the mouth of the glass. One thing I noticed though, the shot seems a bit tilted to the right (horizon line). If the tripod was level, that might be from not shooting plumb (straight on) to the table. Maybe rotate ccw about 4% and then recrop. Let's see some more, this is excellent!

Edit: I see you fixed the tilt in the other one, but I still like the lighting in this one better.

Great shot Nudie Boy!!! This one had me laughing out loud. What was it that made your Mom identify you? Must've been the shoes. ;-)

Skip, congrats on the personal bests with an amazing capture. I'm sure the player would love to have this shot on his wall! Also, congrats on the 20d. It's a great camera, and I can't wait to see more of you work with it.

I really like this, and I'm not even a golfer. The colors are beautiful and the sillouhuete of the golfer sets the mood nicely. Compositionally, I think if the golfer were more to the left it might even be better so that the blue yardage markers are making a cleaner line away from the golfer and through the photo. That would also enhance the wide apect chosen for this shot. Nice shot!

I never thought that a shot of a spoon would make me say "wow!" But seriously, Wow! This is excellent! The lighting is excellent here, the graduated effect towards the top contrasts nicely with the bright part of the spoon. The focus is razor sharp too. Really nice job!

Really nice shot, congrats on the blue. I wonder which has had a more positive impact on property values in Astoria, The Goonies or DPC?
