Lake Pontchartrain July 2005by theonemuleComment: Really nice composition here. There's great (yet subtle) framing, and it's well balanced. The fact that it's not a "spectacular" sunset shot with the whole sky lit up intensifies the mood to this photo. It makes me wish that I was there on the bench watching everything. Nice job. |

Aviators.jpgby casualguyComment: Nice classic image. Personally I would like it cropped off the left and top right a little bit to center the planes creating a nice diagonal of the planes from lower left to top right. It's nice having the puffy cloud on the left, but it throws the composition of the planes off a little. Also, there's a lot of noise, maybe by adjusting the darker parts of the sky in the mixer it brought that out. Try some noise reduction for the sky and then use a small amount of grain filter to bring back some texture. Just my nit-picky two bits on a nice shot. It's fun to go back into the old stuff and see what you can do with it now. |

Polaroid Collectionby jeffzoetComment: Incredible!!! An amazing concept all throughout. The hands coming out of the photos holding another photo is pure genius, remeniscent of MC Escher. The layout on the old workbench is a nice touch as well. I'm with the 20 others (and growing) for a new favorite. Message edited by author 2005-11-15 09:19:46. |

End of the Road in Oz by scalvertComment: Congrats on another ribbon Shannon! I had this pinned as yours just by the creativity alone before I remembered the yellow bricks and slippers from your other one. Great job, and I'm glad to hear that it's not your house... I was ready to bring paint and brushes over Thanksgiving weekend when we're out that way! |

Samara by kiwinessComment: Very nice and creepy, excellent job in the tecnical end as well! A friend of mine is the actual actress who plays "Samara" in The Ring 2. She was the stunt double in the original. She's a beautiful lady, 3 hours of makeup everyday to cover it up! I'll have to send her a link to this, she'd really get a kick out of it. |

End of the Road in Oz by scalvertComment: Another great example of the creative mind of SCalvert? (please excuse me if I'm wrong.) This is GREAT, and an excellent take on the challenge!!! Composition, lighting are all superb, and the fall leaves are a nice touch. Well done! |

_DSC7322-01_streams.jpgby RefwhettComment: Very nice. I'm not sure what you want to do with the sky, but you could cut this sky out and use a gradient fill to give you more blues to it and match the color of the reflection in the marsh more. I don't have PS with me at work and don't know the steps offhand or I'd walk you through it. Beautiful scenery here. |

Forbidden vegetable by LevTComment: Oh my, looks like you shaved a bit too much! lol This is great! I can't look too long at this while at work, people might get the wrong idea and I'd be stumped to try to explain. Nice lighting and composition to make this look like what it's supposed to be (I think). Great conception, uh... wait, I mean imaginiation. |

Dainty Gem by SonifoComment: Wow! I didn't get to vote on all entries, but this one would have gotten a definite 10 from me. I love how pure and innocent the girl is, contrasting to the dark and graingy surroundings. She looks like a little China doll! Keeping the leaves in the foreground is a nice touch too. Excellent!!! You should definitely put this on DPCPrints. |
