This is a great picture of a very cute child and as portraits go, I don't think it can be faulted. The use of B&W is great… I don’t have any problem with the picture but perhaps the challenge link is a little weaker – in my perception at any rate – than it could have been… I know that’s a matter for debate, and I hope the shot does well despite my opinion… (7)

Great shot, great idea… I have only a couple of small gripes; the shot seems – to me - a little over exposed, which is causing the shot to lose definition and, perhaps, closer cropping would also have helped the shot. Hope that doesn't sound too pedantic… Good luck…

This is a great shot in many respects– composition is spot on, and it doesn't look posed. My only beef is with the lighting. The flash has created a rather harsh glare and perhaps a bounced flash would have given it winning appeal…

Great shot… This is a picture that contains all the joy and fun of childhood and it fills the candid challenge. Composition and lighting are both spot on. All in all, a superb shot, but it's the child's laughter that makes this picture just a little bit special. (10)
