Is it OK like that?by bormicComment: It sure is OK. You've got your little model cooperating. Now wait for the high marks to roll in and you two can celebrate! Perfect background, just blurry enough to bring the sense of natural environment for the cardinal. Bumping up. |

FRAGILEby RikkiComment: Those eyes do look like they're made out of glass. Very nice, I can't wait to read/see about how did you do this shot. bumping up. |

Exquisite Gazeby librodoComment: Wonderful portrait! One thing that bothers me, and it may be the actual scarf, but the color is significantly different on the left side vs. the right side. Just something to think about in the future... bumping up. |

Study in: Light, Form, Textureby tfaustComment: The best one of the challenge! I'd love to visit this place sometimes. I've seen enough of the photos of it, it is time for me to try to match them.

The Darknessby edwalk74Comment: Hmm, this one has been already analyzed in the forums. And not in a pretty way. For some reason, not only it is no longer anonymous, but you've received comments on the improvement already from other members, including Joey's advice on applying grunge dodging & burning....
Still, I'll vote as if I haven't seen this one before as no rules were broken: too dark for my taste. Nice touch on the eyes. Slightly (or apperas to be) blown white stripes in the headband - cast into pinkish shade. Nose could have been burned a bit to reduce the glare. |

Earth Bulbby stare_at_the_sunComment: Ah, deja vu! Nice attempt to emulate scalvert's ribbon. I'd love to see the hand in a more natural color than this one, whic is too cold. |
