Texas State Capitol Buildingby yankoComment: Very nice angle on this one, neighbor. I'm only afraid that some of the detail has been lost due to overexposure. That'll burn you (no pun intended). |

Jazzby idnicComment: Congratulations, Cindi!
Love the lighting on your face & hair. I was about to say that perhaps more background light near the legs would have helped accentuate the lower body, but then it's not the point. I love it as is!

~Me~by HBunchComment: I just love this one! Everything, eyes, hair, nose and its shadow, those lips! Technically perfect! It could go in a book on how to make a portrait.
Congratulations on the 10th place in this very tough challenge. And thank you for submitting after all...

Alternative Uses #16, 'Sink Plug'by sjturnerComment: Did you use flash for this one? It looks like you did, or you used some unfortunate lighting that caused all those reflections. I think that this would have done much better with a longer exposure with a more diffused light... Still a top-10 in the challenge. Bump to 8. |

Anyone Care for a Glass of Nikon Cabernet ???by elinkugeComment: Nice presentation of a lenscap. One of my favourite photos of this challenge, but I'm afraid that others won't like the technical imperfections, such as overexposure and therefore lost detail in your whites. If it was any better, it would have scored higher just based on the idea and setup. This way I have to give it only a 7. |

The epic battelby tjmuellerComment: Not the best choice of a background, it seems like a rather careless setup. Or at least does not work for me. I'd preferred something more monolithic, such as the sand-and-dust-covered floor of a gladiator arena... Still a 7 for the idea that stands out in the challenge. |

Petrol Capby Kimberly75Comment: Nice take on the challenge, final bump. (Still, those reflections are bothering me some. You could have placed some whiteboard or a canvas behind to eliminate those, unless you planned on having those reflections, in which case I just don't like them. Still, worth a 8. |

Overprotectedby TUBORGComment: Nice idea, but the message didn't come across as lenscaps being overprotected. It looked to me rather like the operator is overprotected. I guess satin gloves would have made for a better effect than the hygienic rubber gloves :-) |
