Very nice. I know you had to either expose for the blue glasses or the desk (hence the desk is a bit overexposed), tough choices. But the blue is just gorgeous. I think i fyou were to focus on the bottom of the glass and on those interesting patters, it'd be more effective. 8 paganini

As far as the shot itself, it was created using a laser pointer but the post processing with increase constrast and saturation made the lines look more "solid" than it was when the photograph was taken. The reason is that the laser hits the violin wooden surface the reflects in different direction which makes it look fuzzy.

The idea was to create "sound waves" around the violin, while making the violin more VISIBLE from the laser light. Hence the title, Interpretive Dance.
