Day-17by SandyPComment: Gorgeous capture, Sandy. I do see it, this sure does look like a scene from Camelot or a romantic Shakespearean play. The tones are wonderful as is the lighting and composition. Just noticing a little blur on the edges of the dress there? |

No Foodby colorcarnivalComment: The composition is perfect! A great shot, but becomes even more powerful after reading your description. I agree a 5.8 doesn't do this shot justice. But with the challenge theme in mind, I think Sad comes to mind first. |

Day 14 - Twisted Ropeby sherpetComment: ooh I really like this rope pic in b/w. The textures and dramatic b/w conversion is excellent. Very nice work. For the sephia, I personally would like it more if the saturation was pulled down a bit. Message edited by author 2007-05-16 19:01:17. |

Day 11 Domestic Abstractby dreamyComment: This works really well. The point of focus, DOF, composition and lighting. Would only suggest trying to run it through some noise reduction, would really like to see this with a smooth background. |

Dark Pink Lollipopby hajekaComment: SO very neat. The Lollipop looking like a Mic. Nice addition of the Season1 text on the rim. |

Day 5: Sorcha's Obsessionby RebeccaComment: Cool! I like the title and the story :)
Without the details, I'd think this cat has a fascination with water but is still not brave enough to jump in. |

Dog Walkby jaysonmcComment: I was the 3rd eight ;) Really like this shot. I was browsing your profile and saw this in the outtakes folder and immediately knew I saw this in a Free Study. That was over a month ago. This shot has staying power! :) |

Her Eyesby JutildaComment: Great job! really like this portrait. The softness and tones are wonderful, so is the choice of duotone. Wouldn't imagine it working better in b/w. Would only perhaps try to darken the bottom left corner a bit. It kind of distracts the eye a bit from the cat's eyes and darker tones of the rest of the image. |

Black and White Day 11 - Oak and Skyby alexjackComment: The tree with the young leaves makes this great. Wouldn't worked as well if taken in the summer with a full head of leaves covering much of the branch structure which I like here. Wouldn't have liked it bear either. So this is perfect. And the clouds do look great :) |
