 Sepia version

When we were in Sydney recently, we spent a day on he water, going on the ferries at Circular Quey, across the water to Manley.

I spent the day taking many photos, and this is one taken while on the ferry, of the twisted ropes near where we had to disembark. I really like the textures of this one.....

Both are nice but I'm leaning towards the black and white one. The contrast and textures are wonderful!

ooh I really like this rope pic in b/w. The textures and dramatic b/w conversion is excellent. Very nice work. For the sephia, I personally would like it more if the saturation was pulled down a bit.

It's so interesting -- but as I looked at the thumbnails, I was drawn more to the sepia version. But when they opened up -- it was the black and white version that totally wowed me. This is incredible work, Shez. That rope seriously looks like it is here in the room with me! The texture is PHENOMENAL!!!!! Fantastic job!!

Very nice study of textures, and I particularly like that the ropes are not uniform, that ultra-twisty one in the bunch steals the show!

Excellent tones and contrasts again, with this as with several others shots of yours in this challenge you really hit the dof so well that you can feel the textures of your subject. Love the fact that this is one the diagonal
