You say you did what!? LOL. You caught 6 damsels, wow. Your yard is just alive with great bugs. Lucky doc, you have such close access to the freezer hehe. It's a really nice shot m8, with the excellent dof and really good bokeh. It's tack sharp and detailed but would've loved to see an even closer up view. These smaller red dragonflies are a pain to stalk, they're really skiddish. Still no success in catching a glimpse of one since 3 years ago, when I was still using the point and shoot. So I can understand how getting it colder would help, but the damselflies aren't such a pain but it does take patience/skill in subtly shooting one so they dont fly off, not as easy shooting one as those more common dragonflies.

A gorgeous shot, Judy. With the subdued darker colors and the wonderful OOF background. The details on the butterfly are a tad too dark on my screen but something that doesn't ruin the shot and could be easily tweaked in editing, if you wish to do so of course. You have the final say :)

What a wonderful speciman. Great find here Patrice! Wish we had these kinds of butterflies around here. The DOF on the wings is a little lacking but overall this is a really good shot. Congratulations on making the top20 for your first challenge photo :)

Simple and beautiful! :) This would make a great print. If you do make one available , perhaps just one edit to either crop out a bit of the left side or clone out the sliver of leaf there in the top left corner.

ah pfffft. Another underrated shot. Great job with his shot Bear. I really like it, especially the colors. Though I don't particularly like the vignetting on the top left corner.
