Day 4 - DECUS ET TUTAMENby taljComment: Beautiful! DOF is perfect. I have not one complaint about the images. The border however is a bit thick for my tastes (spelled being anal). Left side box is slightly larger than the others causing a bit of an uneven weight in the triptych and the background in that cell is slightly lighter as well. |

Escher Columnby JMartComment: Absolutely phenomenal! I was planning to spend some time trying this out for the first time and that tutorial has given me a great place to start. This is a ribbon winner! |

Day 2 - Cold Steel Retakeby LonzComment: Phenomenal retake Lonz! Barring the 'typical wear and tear' on this watch, I would swear it was an ad for a new watch. Thanx for taking the time to create a visual Brown vs Blue example for the thread! |

macro1c.jpgby creek41256Comment: Great contrast of beauty and death. Nice crisp white in this gives the dull brown a very dynamic feeling to the tones. |

Day 2by EstimatedEyesComment: Nice detail in varied locations. Short DOF works well here and adds an element of interest. Seems a bit flat. Would like to see some dodging or extra USM on the main subject to force it to pop a bit more. My opinion only. Very nice image. |

Rich Velvet Spores - Day 2 by sherpetComment: These plants are getting great mileage! This image almost has the feel of going into a cave. The detail on the spores are great. How far away are you able to get with the 180 mm lens when you're setting these up? |

Mar 02.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: A slight rotation and vertical crop would make this an even more interesting image to me. It is great as it is. And love the texture of the artificial fabric. Great sharpness and excellent depth of field. |

Mar 01.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: These are great complementary colors! They're a bit muted for a complementary color challenge, but with some saturation work and burning and dodging this would be a high scorer in that type of a challenge. I like the depth of field and the detail in the lower left bud. |

Falling Water dropsby ShutterPugComment: The water droplets almost look like lava in a lava lamp that's gray. I agree that the reflections would be really cool to work with as a macro. What were you using as a backdrop? Perhaps some waterproof contact paper would have made some really nice patterns or added to the image. |
