Big Brotherby cloudsmeComment: Nice idea. But there's too much confusion, too elements yoked together, no composition. |

sunriseby kerjanComment: Uh, sorry? What has this got to do with authority? Okay, not considering that, there still lack the details in the mountains and the sun is too strong. |

Noby NodeComment: As your title suggests, the important element of this picture is the word NO. However, leaving parts of the words that follow the NO makes me wanna NO...eh know, sorry, what they mean. You should have taken a frontal shot of the sign and cropped away the other words *completely*. Same remark for "...gh city". |

12 Drinks Too Manyby bruskiComment: This is a great example of facing authority exactly at the moment you least need it. I like the blur at the sides. Did you use a lens the wrong way round? Suggestion: shooting through the bottom of a beer glass creates a similar effect, plus some distortion. |

Oh and Merry Christmas, Kidsby DustyOComment: This one made me laugh. I like the paradoxon in the image, and the sarcasm of the title. I'd have preferre a tighter crop on the sign though, leaving just enough of the surrounding to suggest a park. Just next to where the ribbon (hey?!) ends. |

the bossby ursulaComment: Nice DOF. You might have cropped the horse's eyes away. Showing them makes me want to see the whole of its head. It distracts a bit from the main subject, which is of course the rider. I like the superiority in his face. Perhaps that's just because of the moustache. I don't want to hurt anyone, but did you notice that most dictators have mustaches? |

Penalty Timeby eaglebeckComment: You lost a lot of details by chosing such a smal file size. The referee doesn't suggest too much authority, as he's kneeling down. Usually they throne a bit over the players and put their nose into the air :) |

Electric Meterby kittenfcComment: Very nice textures, great depth of field. You met the challenge, too. I feel a tighter crop from the left would have been better. Cropping a bit off the right might have made the words PROSECUTED and IMPRISONMENT come put better. |

Obey the Laws of Optics // Laser Gamesby MrYuComment: Very nice interpretation of authority. I never thought about the laws of nature. I know you couldn't help that, but the light on the bottom on the right side doesn't fit into the composition. I don't like the dark backgound because the lens is dark too. But there's no other way to show the laser, except if you used some smoke. You might have used a cigarette. I don't want to encourage you to smoke, though! |

Car accidentby TedvandenBerghComment: This is juist what it is. An accident. You might have taken a shot of an officer doing the records and talking to witnesses. The tree on the right is irritating. There are too many cars for the two that are concerned to come out well. |
