Slightly soft, but an excellently composed and exposed photo with really appealing colours. 9

Its a shame the sky is so bright, maybe you could have cropped in closer, but otherwise I really like this show. The B&W and silhouetting works great. 9

Excellent contrast and a great photo. The grain and dust spots add a lot. I'm glad you weren't allowed to clone them out. 9

This does nothing for me. Not enough contrast, not sharp, light glare on the surface (could fix with a polarizer), no real subject, not much connection to the challenge, just overall not appealing to me. 1

This looks like it could be a nice photo but the post-processing needs a lot of work! I'm guessing you tried to make it look like Dusk when it really wasn't, by making the colours like a sunset. In fact what you've ended up with is an awful mix of green and unnatural pink. Ignoring the fact that the colour is so bad, the halo around the treeline and the pond weeds is very distracting, and was probably caused by poor application of USM with too wide of a radius. The detail in the grass in the foreground seems to have almost disappeared, maybe due to excessive neat-image or other noise-removing technique? I really think the post-processing totally ruins this shot. A simple B&W with more careful sharpening would be much more appealing.

Seems to me like there's soem camera shake due to the shutter speed being too slow. You should probably boost the ISO in this situation to get the photo clearer. Camera shake looks much worse than a slightly off-focus shot.

This seems a bit soft to me, and the exposure looked tough, but I think you managed to make it look okay in the end.

Slightly on the soft side. A small application of USM would help I think.

Not sure how this is a self portrait... or how it's independence, and i think it's too centered. Doesnt really hold much appeal with me.
