(Just read your post in the forums asking why this didn't score higher) Wow, I totally overlooked this one. Now that I really look at it, I must say I really love it. Artisticly, I think it's a 10 (if it's possible to assign a numerical score to anything artistic!). Technically, I think it's just fine, and an artistic shot like this is *above* technical criticism, anyway.
To answer your question about why it didn't score higher, I'd have to agree with the others about it being too "artsy" for DPC.

I'm adding this to my favorites.

It's pretty funny that the cop let you stay after he saw how cool your pictures were! I'll have to try that next time ;) (I got kicked out of a subway a few weeks ago).

I really like this. I think that the thing that really strikes me about this photo is (besides the cool composition) the lighting and tones. I like the way that the walls and track are lit, with shadows and highlights. Very cool. When I tried to take subway photos, the subway police kicked me out :( Apparently, it's not allowed in Chicago...

Good title and nice use of shallow DOF. That particular part of the wrench is not drop forged, is it? Maybe it is. Also, I like the tilted camera angle.
