A drop of starby neenee1999Comment: Imaginative and interesting! I love the warm colors, and the dof is great for emphasizing your droplet. Not sure what all is reflected in the drop, but I can certainly see the star and some other visually interesting lines and angles. I might have favored a narrower crop on this - there seems to be SO much space around the drop. Nevertheless, I find it quite visually engaging. 9 |

Donut and Champagne - Concentric Shapesby wetlandComment: Though this is interesting to look at in an abstract way, it does not hold my interest. The combination of colors and the simple presentation are nice, but overall has moderate impact for me. |

Seaside Arabesque by jjbeguinComment: I'm glad I came back to this again. The composition is very nice, especially in relation to the light source. I would probably find this shot to be appropriate for shape, form, and texture! Lots of visual interest here, with the repetition of shape and form constantly drawing the eye throughout the shot. |

The Chosen Oneby dsidwellComment: I like the concept and the "feel" of the shot, but it is a bit dark for me. The composition is interesting, and I like the angle of the light that creates the highlights. |

I 8 applesby arnitComment: I like the lighting and focus, and the simple presentation, but the composition lacks interest for me. |

Winters Tear Drops by scab-labComment: I find the wide border to be a bit overwhelming - my eyes are continuously drawn away from the subject to the white of the border. I would like to have seen the entire icicle in nice sharp focus. The composition is interesting. Good catch on those droplets! |

Shapes of Natureby trainComment: An altogether lovely shot, with nice composition and beautiful lighting. I would love to be able to see just the hint of the stem to anchor the flower a little more. A good combination of shapes, forms and textures. |
