True Loveby patrinusComment: I love the color, the lighting, and that it was taken against a black background, allowing for no distractions. I love that the baby is looking full on at the camera, but would have much preferred to see some interaction between mother and baby - that would have made for a much more compelling image for me. |

A Walk on The Beachby ZorbaTheGeekComment: I found this fairly compelling even at first glance. It just speaks volumes with so little information. The black and white is nice - it strips it down to just the necessary details. |

My Best Friend and Momby cheegirlComment: Very nice shot, though I would really prefer to see a little more of the mother's face. The expressions between a mother and child can be very compelling - so, for me, just a teeny bit more of her face would have been nice. I do like the selective desat here, as well as the nice clean background. |

"Fairy Godmother"by espy2Comment: This is adorable, and one of my favorites! I love the softness of her face contrasted with the sharpness of the "fireworks", and the crown is spectacular! Very cool execution of your concept! |

Watchfulby mpetersComment: There's just something about this shot that I find very compelling. I'm just not sure what. I like the sharp detail of the two in front, and I love the dof, which works wonderfully here. I think it's the overall tone of the image that I like - it looks like it may have been taken very early in the morning - it just has that kind of soft golden glow. Very nice image. |

A Helping Handby BudComment: I love this shot; a great capture of a moment between mother and child. I like the duotone as well, gives it a nice warm feel. After looking at it for a while, I realize that the dark strip (corner of the building I guess) on the right distracts a bit - my eye keeps being drawn to that dark area. Otherwise, and lovely shot. |

Eye of the Flying Tiger..by TannyComment: Wow, I love this shot! His stare is so direct that it's almost creepy. Like he wants to eat you. I'm curious as to whether this was taken in the wild, or in a reserve park. We have a reserve park that we go to, but they don't have a bald that they can bring out.
The dof is just incredible - it's almost like you shot him against a backdrop. Wait...he's not stuffed is he????? Anyway, nice and crisp and a pleasure to look at. |
