This photo does not say "Something Old" to me. "Age", yes, but not old. I do not find the composition of the shot to be engaging - perhaps a tight shot of him with his face very close to the cake would have given the shot a better focus on the subject. lhall

I really don't think the gentleman in this photo is quite old enough to qualify for what I would consider "Something Old" ! I think I see the intended relationship between the child's things, and the age of the man, but for me, it just doesn't "hit the target" of the intent of the challenge. The shot is also too "busy" for my taste. lhall
