Shy Betsyby KelliComment: your photographs all contain a very unique pp. it seems that your dominate colors intensify giving a duo-tonenish look. all your subtle color is gone. very nice technic- i like it ! |

4-april 09 unconventional. on cloud 9, or possibly 10 !!by rozComment: i love katee, toning, and tunnel like effect created by the vignette which adds a unique perspective. unfortunately that is where it ends. i perceive no connection to the foreground and background elements. the foreground and it's grid has some visual appeal but, the background to me is cluttered and incongruent. since i am not one to even know how you did this, my suggestions may not be that constructive but, as an image i would have liked to have seen the foreground duplicated in the background and clone out the legs of that thingo. this might have simplified it and created a more floating effect for katee. you are an amazing photographer and i know that if you have a ratio of 1 of 10 great images your doing the job right. this just to me happens to be one of the 9. |

beach.jpgby dougi555Comment: pre-visualizing conceptually is essential for what you do and you are a master of it. your color combinations and compositions are always clean and precise and, more likely than not, the elements have that specific reason that don't clutter or distract. in particular the dappling of red under the apples is what gives this a believable attitude. i love your contraptions! |

Bebeby JutildaComment: my nomination is for a new gerber baby. jude- you nailed this, outstanding high key - one of the finest standards for child photography. curious as to the awkward comp but, i'm sure you had your reasons. this is fabulous photography! the clean and straight forward approach wins me over every time. your abilities and eye for quality continues to impress me. |
