Desolationby ChaszmyrComment: I think a polarizer would have helped this a lot, because the shadows are indistinct and the sky is too white. Nice composition. |

Beavers Woodworkingby HBunchComment: I hate to say this, but for once, maybe TOO much depth of field? A little OOF in the background would have really set off and outlined the tree. |

Self Serviceby SwashbucklerComment: I almost voted this a 3 because I would personally like to discourage this type of "effects in the camera" usage on DPC. However, you tell a great story and did a good job of photography, so I won't punish you like that :-) The more I look the more I like it. 7 nards656 |

Faithby arnitComment: I confess I'm stupid and confused about this photo and the challenge relevance. I'm really trying hard to give you the benefit of the doubt but I'm not sure how to connect it, so I'm not sure how to vote. |

Bloomingdales Candid 1by smellyfish1002Comment: I can't explain why I like this, but I do. Good shot. His expression says a lot, but the "photo" in the background carries a huge air of mystery that keeps me staring at the shot. 9 |

Abstract Martiniby AleciaComment: I'm not a big abstract fan, but this is well done. Great color. I think I would like it even better without the little bits of yellow. |

Chasityby connieComment: Excellent portrait with great composition. The detail is so accurate it intimidates me. I know this is one of you guys out there with a really high quality lens, because it shows :-) Those of us with older, lower quality lenses and CCDs can never compete with this! Nice photography! |
