Week 9: In the Doorwayby jasonlpriceComment: Wow, Jason, you did good! I have to regularly take photos inside our culinary school where there is bright light coming in from floor to ceiling windows covering the whole wall of their kitchen, so I really appreciate how difficult it is to get such great detail in your subject against that bright backlighting from outside the door. This is such an interesting photo. Life. I love it!

Week 8by muz64Comment: What a cutie! And what an artistic presentation of him. At Christmas. His expression -- soaking it all in -- is perfect for the scene with the Christmas tree and the pretty light just on the tree and the boy. Makes me want Christmas back again :)

Sitting On a Cloudby of-snowComment: I've always wanted to try a photo with dry ice. the smoke gives an eerie haunting feel to the photo. And here, the subject, which almost looks like it could be a statute on a gravestone, it gives it even more of an "other worldly" look. I like it :) I do agree with Deb too that a little more light on the white/neutrals gives it even more pop and drama.

Bondby classycamComment: Oh what a beautiful photo! I can acutally feel the soul of that animal. His expression is so humble and sensitive. I love the creative editing too. It draws attention to the emotion behind the photo rather than having the focus solely on technical issues. It looks like a beautiful painting.

653901by undieyatchComment: I thought the same thing Andi did. That it was an ocean. But it had such a different look to it, which drew me in and made me want to study it. I love it. I love the simplicity of it and the negative space of the textured hillside. Very much a thumbs up for this one :)

9.52 Frankfurt Hauptbahnhofby MelethiaComment: I LOVE your city and train station photos. I've actually BEEN there before. I was a little girl, but I still have vivid memories of boarding the train at the Frankfurt Train station, and even then I was overwhelmed by how big and striking it looked. You have captured it beautifully and made my memories warm and fuzzy! Thanks!

Week 7: Story Timeby muz64Comment: Ohhhhhhhhh .. . . this is awesome. I love her radiant smile. It looks so candid and real. And your neice looks so intent like she is trying so hard to read a big word.
This is a beautiful moment you captured. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Week 08 - Wasted Timeby KenComment: Oh Ken! This is aMAZING! Dang! I'm so jealous of those beautiful turbulent skies. And your access to the ocean. And snow. But I love seeing your photos here, so that will have to do for me living in this heat scorched state.
