Oh, ANNI!!! This is so precious! The mannerisms of animals sometimes are so close to the expressions of people. She's so cute! She looks like she's too fat and lazy to move back a few inches, so she's holding her face up with her hands so her head doesn't fall in the water :)

Course. . .fat and lazy never looked so adorable ! :)

That is such an interesting plant! I don't know that I've ever seen anything like that over here at the far ends of the earth. Those deep rich greens are beautiful. And I always love the way you so expertly give photos just the right mood and sentiment with your subtle overlays. They are so wonderful to look at and study!

What I notice, and think is so poignant, is the way you relate this photo to your sister -- and how the one flower is bright and focused -- center stage -- while the other is softly in the background, happy to give the other the spotlight.
