Harajuku Girlby noranekoComment: I have been really drawn by this type of photography too. The urban look, kind of grungy, and oh so interesting! This is really great. I'd like to go out and spend an entire day finding cool photos "out there" like this :)

Untitledby BarbBComment: I love this photo. I love going to my sister's house trying to capture beautiful horse moments like this. The motion puts more emphasis on the motion of that beautiful animal with a cowboy on his back -- than on it being any particular person. I think artistic blur in photos is so cool!

Polistes humilis - Common Paper Waspby rozComment: Ohmy! Roz! You keep raising the bar on macros. I keep thinking your macros are total perfection, but then you keep improving them! How do you do it! THIS is AMAZING!

Graffiti Angelby jegerComment: Ooooh, I love this urban kind of photography! You chose the PERFECT model for this. She fits so well in to the urban, grungy scene -- yet she is so hauntingly beautiful and feminine. The blend is perfect, and yet such an anomaly as well. Brilliant!

New Day. New Hope. New Beginning.by essayComment: I think this is beautiful! I am imagining how awesome it must have been to be there at sunrise -- so quiet and peaceful. I am not a morning person, so it is really hard for me to get places by sunrise - but every time I do it, I am SO THANKFUL that I did, and I always say a prayer that something about my body clock will change and I will do it more often.
This inspires me to try again! :)

one lighter,,, is all I needby ytshuvaComment: Kobi, I know I've told you how much I love this photo already, but I want to tell you again how much character is oozing from his face. There's a harshness about his "story", but there's a sparkle in his eyes. You did such great photojournalism over there!

Iridescence by AnnComment: Oh Ann! I am a huge hummingbird photo shooter too. That's why I can appreciate the difficulty in getting a shot like this. I love the expression on this one's face. He looks so innocent and inquisitive. I'm so glad this one won a ribbon. I don't think excellent hummingbird photos will ever grow old.
