I tried a new processing method with this, and while the whites are blown a little, I still like the contrast and mysterious feel. The Harajuku section of Tokyo is outstanding for street photography.

I have been really drawn by this type of photography too. The urban look, kind of grungy, and oh so interesting! This is really great. I'd like to go out and spend an entire day finding cool photos "out there" like this :)

Excellent! Whatever you did for porcessing worked very well. Great tones, contrast and detail. And a very intriguing shot to begin with, too.

Fantastic image. The B&W processing is very well done. There appears to be a little loss of detail in the sleeves (that may be my monitor). But, a great image.

Nice one Catherine! I would enjoy seeing more of the Harajuku station area (if you choose to accept this mission....)

Okay Catherine - this one is awesome. I opened it without realizing who took the picture - I was taken by the thumb immediately - thinking it was nixter or e301 or melethia or others of that style. Great, great, great stuff!

How are you going to go back to the flashy bug macros etc after doing this? ;-)
