Oh Roz! How painful to get a 7.2+ and not win a ribbon! The downside of Free Studies where the best of the best from all over the world vies for the top 3 spots. And this is SUCH award worthy photography. I LOVE how you used sepia tones. Like all your macros, it takes my breath away. Those eyes! I've never seen anything so flawless.

I agree with Sherpet tho. This is one of the best macros ever shown on dpChallenge. Congratulations on your award winning photography -- and an honorable mention in an amazing challenge!

OHMy!! I love photos like this. The fog is so dramatic. I can almost hear the winter wind on the prairie there -- and how warm and cozy it feels inside :) I do agree with C-Stein. This looks like a ribbon-winner to me!
