Jeanneby krnodilComment: Awww! I love her! I remember at one of the Washington GTG's she broke her leg and was laid up for what seemed like forever. She looks so beautiful all smiling and happy here.

sun-through-clouds-004-mult.jpgby jomariComment: No need to apologize! They are very exotic, and I love seeing them. I love the way you process them to enhance the artistry. I'd be happy to look at lots more if you had some :) |

Victorian Ladiesby KelliComment: Kelli, you are so funny! I have had those sentiments so many times and bit my tongue and let the "not-as-photogenic" one remain. One time, I had the most gorgeous girl, and her boyfriend was the goofiest, most awkward thing I had ever photographed. I wanted to bad to ask him to go wait for us to finish in the car. Butttttt kept smiling and ended up with goofy looking photos.
But in your case, I actually do like both of them in the photo. It is true to the times. Those were tough times, and it wore hard on some of the faces. I think your photo conveys the times beautifully!

DPC: Friends online, in person, for lifeby MelethiaComment: Wow! This certainly would have been my most meaningful photo too. Talk about a Whose Who among DPC'ers, huh? What a BLAST it must have been hanging out with all those heavyweights (including YOU) But you didn't have your tripod so you could get in it too? Bummer. That's the only thing that may have made it better: to have Deb's smiling face in it.
What a great photo! I tried to vote on all the photos in the challenge, but I didn't quite make it. I missed this one. Darn.
But nineteen 10's, five 9's, and forty-eight 8's! Obviously, the photo meant alot to alot of other people too!

Bear and Karmaby MelethiaComment: And Karma is going, "Mmmmmmmm yummmmy. .. .that lady has looots of money" :)
What a great photo! Bear looks so much the sea-faring gentleman, doesn't he? This would make such a great environmental portrait.

Scandal originalby MelethiaComment: Oh you are definitely bold, going where no man dares to go. This is the 2nd photo I've seen where you were clearly not supposed to be clicking pictures of your unsuspecting subjects. Have you thought of a job with the National Enquirer when your stint as a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army is done? Methinks you just maaaaaaaaaay have a second career there.
Can I play when you do ???? |

Food 12 - Codby hajekaComment: Ohmy! I am SO impressed! This is not only a beautiful, magazine ad-worthy photography, but your cooking abilities! No. . .it goes beyond impressed. I am in awe!
I have taken many photos of gourmet food for the culinary school the company I work for is affiliated with, so I can really appreciate what goes into getting a really nice shot like this. It's really great!
