All By Myself - Eric Carmenby karenkComment: Oh my! You KNOW that if it were me handing out ribbons, this would be my pick one! His expression just sings your song title loud and clear. Congratulations on ending up with the kind of photo that is beyond even caring how it finished -- because it will no doubt be a powerful favorite long after the challenge is history!

"Wolf" - Joe Walsh, 1973by basssman7Comment: I know. . .it makes me boiling mad every time I see a blatant example of scoring manipulation like you see when a photo of this calibre gets 3's or less. Even 4's or less. It can be for no other reason but they have a photo that they think might be in the running, so they are trying to lower the scores of the ones they know are better than theirs.
Sooooooo, what is the story behind this beautiful, if not a bit weathered, animal??? Your photography definitely connects you to him on its own, but I'd love to know a little bit more of the story behind this photo. Its captivating -- and the way I love animals, I'm sure the story would make me love the photo even more :)
Congratulations on a capture that will live long after the final finish has been forgotten. But Congratulations also on a well deserved front page placing. |
