You know. . .except for the dead bird in the tree. . .this picture would be one of my favorites ever. It looks so wintery and striking. I love it. But for the challenge, I guess the dead bird has to be there -- it fits well and I have to admit, it does make a perfect "oops" picture. Great job. 10

This is such a beautiful photo. The thumbnail is deceiving. Not that it looks bad or anything -- it's just that it looks like a nice but maybe ordinary bird photo. But when I clicked on it, I was totally blown away by the spectacular detail in his face and feathers. Graphicfunk's right. . .you gasp and get a chill when you first see it! Congratulations on 9th place!
