The bottle was dropped by labuda onto a semi-soft white backdrop. the bottle would bounce a little and make a splash. this image is rotated 90o, splash is going upwards.
and of course this wasnt real beer, were not that inconsiderate... ginger ale with a little colour ;)

How'd you get the background so white?

external flash onto a white backdrop will do the trick. here we used two of them on the backround and one on the bottle

I don't understand how this didn't make it to #1. It sure deserves to be there.

Very good Piotr, Excellent composition and an A for creativity.

Although I thought there was something in the basic editing rules forbidding the use of fake beer. ;)

Nice capture. I like the curve of the liquid. Had there been a hand or fingers trying to grasp at the bottle I would have scored this even higher. Well done though.

Very interesting. I think I understand part of how you accomplished this, but certainly not all...

I'll note, though, that (and perhaps this is just my technically-oriented mind at work, but) I didn't immediately see this as what I'm guessing it's intended to look like -- a bottle flying through space. Still, it's interesting, and technically very nice. 8 from me.

I'm going to guess this has been rotated but not because it looks like it was. Nice color and crisp lines. For perfection I'd like to see the background more consistent, but it is hardly a gripe. I like the simple boarder. Cool photo!

While the spill is very interesting my eyes are drawn to that bottle -- what's going on?? Would be more effective if bottle was opaque or at least the scene lit in such a way that the image isn't tilted. Also looks like something in the bottle.
