Easy there tiger! I plan on keeping my second portfolio space intact for at least a little while longer :P. I've never noticed an emu with such a cool blue coloured neck. Most of the ones I've encountered have just been plain old boring brown.

Absolutely amazing catch. I get the feeling there's a couple of hundred outtakes in this series.

Edit: let me elaborate. I think swiping ideas from previous challenge winners is just lame, even if you enhance it a little by adding a bug or two. So, sorry, no 'unbelievable', 'creative' and 'wonderful' from me:

See normally I'd agree with this sentiment - but after reading the photogs comment it's pretty clear that this shot was taken with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Thus it's really just a very well executed bit of dpc satire.

It must have taken some doing to get both the waterdrop AND the bug to cooperate at the same time.

I don't suppose you could post the exposure details for some of your concert shots - they are all remarkably crisp, and when it comes to concert photography I have no idea where to start.

This was my favourite of the challenge - extremely dramatic. It has something that sets itself apart from most of the others - which for mine are mostly just average bug close ups.

No-one - I think that's the point - on dpc, bug shots generally win :). I'd be a little more convinced if I hadn't seen this exact angle of a dragon fly at least a couple of other times on dpc - but it's technically very well done. And I'amazed that you managed this shot with a live dragonfly.

DOF is a little too shallow here - that's what'll happen with an aperture of 2.8. Otherwise it's a nice idea, and I really like the black and white treatment.

This is an amazing shot - though it might help to straighten the horizon. It's slightly off kilter - if you can do thast without having to crop too close to the woman I think it would really help.
