As far as fireworks shots go, this one is excellent. Love the contrast between the fading fireworks in the bottom and the fuller fireworks at the top - the trail is a little blown out perhaps, but other than that this is spot on. 8

This is a nice solid portrait, lighting is good (except perhaps the slight glare off the nose) black and white works wel and the expression is interesting. I don't find this hugely engaging, but your technical skill is definately something to build on in 2005 - good luck! 6

Jeremy Lelii right ? This is certainly not a bad shot - but I've seen a couple of others of yours in forums that beat this hands down. Nice to see you try a slightly different approach to what is a fairly tired formula, but I think the lighting at the top of the frame is a bit harsh, and the mauve (or whatever the heck that colour is called) background doesn't really work for me. I do like the shadows a lot though. Still, this is a 6 from me - a shame cos I've seen a couple of your shots that would definately warrant and eight or nine.
