Unusual composition and subject matter. Lighting and detail are good, rich in color without being over-saturated, and has an interesting point of view. ((8))

Great idea, and lovely effect. Not sure if cropping out the right would have improved it though - like the idea of not actually knowing what you are looking at.

Jeremy Lelii right ? This is certainly not a bad shot - but I've seen a couple of others of yours in forums that beat this hands down. Nice to see you try a slightly different approach to what is a fairly tired formula, but I think the lighting at the top of the frame is a bit harsh, and the mauve (or whatever the heck that colour is called) background doesn't really work for me. I do like the shadows a lot though. Still, this is a 6 from me - a shame cos I've seen a couple of your shots that would definately warrant and eight or nine.
