Snow Mountainby sfarrell23Comment: Very pretty mountains - I really like what you are trying to do here, but I think the red tree in the foreground ruins the effect to a degree. Would have liked the nice, even, division between green trees, mountain and sky that would have resulted if it were not there. 6 |

Peaceful Streamby rayg544Comment: Nice composition here, the reflections are pretty - its a shame you can see the road on the left. Additionally I think the sunlight is a bit harsh in parts - makes the colours seems a little washed out. |

Sunset in Montanaby NeuferlandComment: Thats a very dramatic sky - your adjustments work well. The trees provide a nice framing effect to boot. |

Getting ready to give her daughter awayby dimitriiComment: Terrific catch... I hope this wasn't set up - then I can label you the master of the candid. On the other hand if it was set up I can commend you on your wild imagination and the tremendous perspective you've chosen. 10. (by the way - the high key effect works well here). |

Weird Stoneby honkwokComment: Well stone, shell, or petrified pinecone this image is very effective. I really like the way the colouring of your 'stone' is so similar to the background, yet it is completely distinguishable in spite of the relatively deep DOF due to it's disparate shape. |

Koiby GinaRothfelsComment: Stunning colours. I like the distorted watery effect too. Good job! 7. |

Sky Bridgeby PeterCComment: Terrific subject and perpective here. The symmetrical composition lends this image a great sense of balance. Good work! |

boston the beautifulby mrsamsaComment: This is a very striking image. I wonder whether the same effect could be accomplished without the solar flare (I find that a little distracting, still the choice of subject and composition are brilliant). And I just noticed the little rainbow - a nice extra touch - its a 7 as is - without the pink line you'd probably get a nine from me. Good job. |

Sea Mist At Low Tideby hughletherenComment: this image really is one of two halves... the background (i.e buildings through the mist) could not be better, the foreground, through no fault of your own detracts somewhat from the mood of the image due to the tacky colours of the boat, if only you could make your own scene, a couple of worn out wooden fishing boats would have done nicely :P. Still a seven on the strength of that background. |
