Well it didn't take long to do once set up, literally a few seconds and once the mag glass was at the right height it burnt straight away. White paper was placed underneath the leaf in full sun.
Not much I could do about the shadow - it was the only true position I could have the glass in which the leaf would burn. |

Kingsby ArtanComment: For me I think there is too much space, bottles are refelcting light and shadows. Would be more appealing cropped right in on the bottles and even in B/W could look better. keep at it, this could be a lot better photo ! |
