Hazy dayby SondaComment: while i can make out the lighthouse in the distance, it is too distant and too hazy to consider it the subject of the image. |

Yellow Rageby LevTComment: if this was the 'rage' challenge, i'd give you grief for not meeting the challenge and trying to use the title just to have an entry. looks like you dodged that bullet. nice image. |

Following the Yellow Stripesby JEFFJSBComment: nice idea. too bad the yellow doesn't really "pop". also, it feels a little too centered. looks a little soft; maybe could have gone out another stop or two. |

Towel Headby alanfreedComment: i guess you didn't have the opportunity to wait for a little more emotion out of this guy. i mean, it's a good picture, and he does seem to be intently following the game, but, all the same, a grimace, wince, laugh, any expression could have brought this to life. love the dof. |

Leaf Landmark — Prominence is Relativeby platy123Comment: can't wait to see the other comments and the voting break down on this one...
sometimes, at this time of day, you have to look not just where the light is coming from, but also where it's going. the strength of the shadows and the glare off the snow do not really leave a richness of texture that might have been found from a slightly different angle or if you had shot this 15 minutes later (assuming this is sunrise). also, the image might have been more interesting if, instead of silhouetting the leaf, you had captured the leaf's colors. |

Linlithgow Palaceby geewhyComment: while this is an interesting image, i would not consider it a shot of a landmark except for it being entered in the landmark challenge. the subject is too distant and not showing enough detail to compete with the birds in the foreground. the image is fine, it's just the challenge aspect that will hurt your score (and don't get me wrong--i'm not saying it doesn't meet the challenge, i'm just saying it's not that strong of a challenge entry). |

Pride of London by ImagineerComment: excellent exposure. the lights give atmosphere without washing anything out. good work. |
