what a cute capture. love the detail, especially in the wing. i might suggest your adding an overlay layer with a 50% gray fill, then using a brush at 30% opacity to slightly burn in the wood. as is, the near blowouts really detract from an otherwise wonderful image. good luck in the challenge!
