ok, this is a cool shot, very well executed. all the same, there is nothing in the image that really conveys the idea of sport to me, in the sense of competition, team play, or the like. believe me, i know bike racing is a sport, but i don't get the sense of a race from this image. killer shot, though, and hope it does well for you.

great timing, nice capture. i think, though, you could really benefit from putting 2-3 thousand dollars into equipment upgrades. you are really asking a bit too much from that slow lens (f/4?) you need f/2.8 if you want to get action like this razor sharp. i just happen to know of a mint condition canon 300mm f/2.8L that normally retails for $3700 for about $2700--let me know if you're interested...

oh, i REALLY like this and hope it does well. as for the challenge, you absolutely nailed it. i probably would have scored this an 8, but i'm giving this a 10 just to help offset the rough voting that i've seen in this challenge. good luck, hope to see this on the front page! (and yes, baseball is the best sport!)

love the colors, but have a tough time believing this is the best shot you had from the match. the composition is off--the action is taking me out of the frame. it also appears that the focus is sharper on the guy who is horizontal. but, all the same, you met the challenge, and i'm sure this will score very well.
