Swing and Smileby swimmergirl4242Comment: a kid on a swing. grinning, nonetheless. not really engaging and no storytelling. no action. focus is a little soft. what could you do to do better? look at the top 30 images in this challenge after it's over and see if there's something in them that you could try to emulate. if your score isn't where you would like it to be, you might want to read this thread. |

18, 19, 20...by BenComment: elongated torso shot of a guy hanging from a bar...nothing connects me with this. maybe if you had a shot of him actually doing a chinup, sweaty faced and grimacing, you would have had a story to pull me into. as is, i'm left out of it. |

... and i'm hatin' it!by arminComment: for all intents and purposes, this is a picture of a sign...there's nothing in the image that engages me. oh well. if your score isn't where you would like it to be, you might want to read this thread. |

Hidingby marytwitchelComment: echoing other likely comments, it's hard to vote and/or comment on images this small. if your score isn't where you would like it to be, you might want to read this thread. |

Cruisin'by rkligmanComment: a shot of people on a sailboat. nothing wrong with it technically. does it meet the challenge? could you have done something different to really hammer the challenge home? who knows? maybe if something exciting happened, like if someone got whacked by a boom, or if someone was dangling overboard, or if someone was mooning you. well, if your score isn't where you would like it to be, you might want to read this thread... |

Do Not Disturbby Perfecti0nComment: this is one of those shots that if i found it in a portfolio, i'd like it. for me, the technical flaws make it work. on the other hand, as a challenge entry, it's a horrible choice. seriously, if i took this shot, i'd absolutely love it--BUT, i'd never put it to a vote, especially in a candid challenge. more power to ya. if your score isn't where you would like it to be, you might want to read this thread. |

Spectrumby soupComment: too subtle for the challenge, but still a cool shot. |

Raptorby StrikeslipComment: i'd love to be able to shoot something like this in my living room ;-)
excellent shot, slippy, and a nice finish in a monster challenge. i have that same lens, but hardly ever use it; i was thinking about selling it, but this shot makes me want to hang onto it. |

Easter GQ Boyby EmilioComment: focus is a bit soft, and the image is a bit flat. could have used a bit more post-processing to bring the image out. as a candid, it's ok; i can feel his discomfort, being made to dress up and pose. |
