Although voting should be about the image, I have to tell you your title is probably hurting your score. It's more like a book then a title. The image itself has a certain symmetrical appeal.

Nice concept... You may want to look for better lighting sources though... Also, the table doesn't add to the shot and should be cropped out :)

Interesting concept for the challenge... However, I feel your execution missed on a couple of points...

The table to the right and below the Bible adds nothing... Crop it out :)

If you could have found a better light source that would give an even illumination it would have been a big help too... To see what I mean, look at Chapter 2, Verse 23 and compare the readability to Chapter 3, Verse 3... The light on 3:3 is much harsher and makes it more difficult to see... To be "a light unto the world", you will need to master lighting a little better :)

The focus on parts of the apple are off... I feel this could have been a MUCH better shot if it had been much closer in and only had the bitten part of the apple...

Last, but certainly not least, the Bible should (in my opinion) be straight... It is severely slanted here...

Great concept though... Nice interpretation of the challenge.

I feel this shot was seriously hurt by the size... You are allowed 640 pixels on one side and up to 150k file size. So your shot was about one third the size it could have been.... It's very hard to judge how good the shot itself might be.

You're not suppose to have a flower as the subject of your shot :) Just kidding :)

Seriously, I am bothered by the angle... I think you would have had a better shot if the shadows were straighter and maybe if possible, if the bottom could have been closer to the feet.... I think portrait layout would have suited this best.

But that's just me :)

I like the composition here, but the border hurt the shot to my eye. I think it would have been better without one...

But htat's just me :)

You've got a wonderful model :) I think you need to pay more attention to the lighting though... There are some very bright spots where all the detail is lost. Priceless smile :)
